As you can see, I not only paint sheep. When commissioned to paint a portrait in pastels I work from reference photos to capture the individual personality and am therefore delighted with testimonials such as this : “ Angela was recommended to me by a friend and I was worried that the portrait of my pal would be any German Shepherd. How wrong I was. The portrait of my dog is exactly like him, his fur is him, and his expression is superb. I am over the moon”.. (Mr Armitage, Caithness).

I often have a waiting list, so as much notice as possible would be appreciated. It is difficult to provide a price before I understand what’s required as all commissions vary so much in size and complexity. One of my pastel animal portraits starts at £275 unframed.
